On Friday, November 7th, we’re bringing Listening is Fundamental (LiF) back to LA for the second time this year! After an amazing edition earlier this year, we’re returning for another night of our signature sample recognition bingo — just in time for Camp Flog Gnaw 2025.

This edition celebrates the essence of Camp Flog Gnaw:

🌻 Side B — a deep dive into Tyler, the Creator’s discography

Hosted at The Airliner, a venue with deep ties to L.A.’s underground music scene, this LiF will highlight the samples behind Tyler’s work and the artists taking the Camp Flog Gnaw stage.

Discover the stories behind your favorite samples while testing your ear in our signature sample recognition bingo game. Connect with fellow music lovers, enjoy a live DJ set, and soak in an intimate space that centers Black sound, storytelling, and community. It’s a night for listening, learning, and celebrating music together.

During the game, we ask for your full attention and participation — it’s part of what makes the experience so special.
